Danny who works and lives on the farm had a very special

visitor over the weekend—

a Small Elephant Hawk Moth.

Very noisy around the house this weekend it looks like we have a pair of Sparrow Hawks have moved in, whilst they are amazing to watch I do  fear for the young birds especially the Partridges , Quail & Pheasant which have small chicks with them.  At least they still have good cover for a few more weeks until we start combining the Barley and Beans.
