The Organic Pantry

We do not have any stock on the farm at the moment, following foot and mouth we sold our flock of sheep , as we did not want to bring the disease back to our neighbours when our vans were delivering all over Yorkshire and Derbyshire.

The permanent grassland on the farm is let to Jo Cartwright of Swillington Farm, Garforth.  Jo takes silage, then grazes her sheep and cattle.

When produce from Jo is available we will offer it in the shop but as she is a very small concern we use  Graig Farm organics to supply us with a constant supply of top quality meat for our box scheme.

We ask for orders by Thursday evening for the following week, the full range of meat can be viewed on their website www.graigfarm.co.uk   which is linked to our website but we also have a list which we can send out on request with current prices and produce. A full catalogue is available by request from the office.

We have all our christmas turkeys raised for us Stephen Pearson at Kirkby Fleetham. They are very popular and people come back to us each year. Need the order early.

All the meat arrives fresh and ice packed. it is checked , then delivered to your door in chill boxes packed with ice.
