The Organic Pantry

 .We are very lucky in Boston Spa as the kitchens at the Comprehensive are run by a great team of enthusiastic people. Diane who runs the kitchens is an inspiration, she has been using Organic produce from us for many years. She has found the children are thriving on the good healthy produce we send them, and the amount they require is growing all the time.

We also supply other schools and nurseries with fresh produce and milk.

Another way that we become involved with schools is through our box scheme. We have schools who want to increase there parents/children's awareness of healthy eating by having a box scheme which can either be run by the school or by the parents association. This has also proved to be a good way or raising funds for the school also. We supply the school with pre packed boxes at a set wholesale price and the school then sell them at retail price. The margin goes to the school.

We have small groups of Children coming from school  for a farm walk with Jonnie, food for life, sponsored by the Government.  Jonnie was a bit sceptical at first but thoughly enjoyed it, the group were so well behaved and polite and asked some great questions!.

Having had a visit by a small group of primary school children, they have started a small box schem within the school with the teachers
