BIRD & WILDLIFE INFORMATION SHEET

St Helens Farm comprises of 300 acres of farmland adjoining the River Wharfe, at Newton Kyme, Tadcaster.  The land adjoining the River is known as the Ings field, this is a water meadow and floods completely at certain times of the year. During the last 10 years as the farm has been converted to organic farming and we have been involved with the countryside stewardship  the wildlife has increased considerably.
