The Organic Pantry

For many years now we have been wholesaling our farm produce, but in 2005 we began to offer a complete range of organic fruit and vegetables.
This evolved from our own need to source excellent fruit and vegetables to compliment our farm produce.
Initially this was for the benefit of the home delivery box scheme, but we then felt that we would like to offer this ideal combination out to other organic traders. Jonnie our  buyer,  is experienced in sourcing and importing some of the finest fruit and vegetables from Europe and beyond, from suppliers who support small growers and workers co-operatives.
We source our produce very carefully and have long-standing close relationships with our suppliers. We apply the same ethos we have towards our farm to the produce we buy, and we know many of our growers personally.

For much of the year the majority of the wholesale vegetable list contains our own farm produce as we grow over 50 varieties of vegetables. Other produce is sourced from as close to home as possible, beginning with local farmers in the north of England.
We always try to offer British alternatives even when European produce is at its best because we understand that different customers buy with differing criteria in mind.
With organic produce there is complete traceability back to the grower that produced each piece of fruit and vegetable that we supply.

We are able to offer a unique service in that the freshness of our produce is exceptional. We receive deliveries from Europe twice a week and our farm produce is usually picked early in the morning of the day of delivery.
We feel confident that this will undoubtedly promote organic produce and reflect our aim to provide fresh and excellent quality organic vegetables and fruit whereby you can feel confident to supply your customers with the best.

We deliver throughout the north east of England - from Northumberland through Yorkshire to Derbyshire and Staffordshire and pallets can be dispatched by overnight courier further afield.
