Hellenic Sun Extra Virgin Olive Oil is full-bodied with a very intense olive aroma, giving the oil a special fragrance, a sweet initial taste sensation and a slightly piquant after-taste, selected from high quality extra-virgin olive oil originating in the island of Crete from the variety Koroneiki. For thousands of years the inhabitants of the Mediterranean countries have cultivated the olive tree and used its products for their daily needs.

This extra-virgin olive oil is produced by a manner of "cold extraction" which means that the oil is not subject to a temperature of over 27°C in the processing, thus helping to preserve the flavour and nutritional value of the product.
