We grow this here on the farm for as long as the season will allow. Unlike true spinach, perpetual spinach is part of the chard family and will keep re-growing once cut. Although it has a slightly thicker, larger leaf than true spinach the taste is very similar. This is a great one for gardener's to try as it is a mush hardier crop that will handle being in a dryer environment.
