Hand-harvested for centuries in North America. A separate species, unrelated to rice. Nutritionally superior. Cook on its own or as part of a rice mix. Wash, then using 3 cups of water to 1 cup 'rice', bring to boil. Stir once & simmer in a covered pan for 45 minutes until the water has been absorbed.
Cool, dry & hygienic; away from direct light & strong odours
Rinse in cold water. Add 1 part rice to 3 parts water. Bring to the boil then simmer for approximately 40 minutes until the water is absorbed.
