Ethically sourced from a farmer co-operative in the Philippines. They're perfect for baking, sauteing and light frying. The freshly harvested coconuts are graded and the best quality is selected. Within 48 hours of picking, the flesh is carefully pressed and centrifuge spun to separate the different elements. By using this 'quick after harvest' method the original quality and highly beneficial nutrients found in fresh coconuts are maintained. Suma's oils are a great vegan substitute for butter in baking, offering a non-dairy and non-soya alternative.
