Organic Green Lettuce 

We grow our own lettuces for as long as we can but unfortunately have to look further afield when winter comes around. 

Reasons to eat lettuce:

• Lettuce is full of fibre and as such will help you both 
• Lettuces are great for those who suffer from insomnia lactucarium which has both relaxing and sleep-inducing qualities - a good reason to skip the salad at lunchtimes but eat it for dinner instead!
• Recent research has also focussed on the ability of compounds in lettuce that seem to prevent neuronal cell death. It is possible that we will discover that lettuce has the potential to be used as a neuro-protector against common neurodegenerative diseases like dementia.
