Sadly we haven't managed to find an English organic apricot grower to supply us with these little gems so we usually look to the Continent to supply us. Fear not, they will still have been grown to the strictest organic standards.

Reasons to eat apricots:

• Apricots are rich in certain carotenoids and xanthophylls that may help protect eyesight from ageing-related damage.
